Title: Administrator/Minute Taker
Location: Wrexham Industrial Estate
Salary: £20,000

We’re looking for an experienced Note / Minute Taker to work in conjunction with our existing Business Support Team.

Innovate Services works in partnership with local authorities to support their children’s services department, improving the lives of children and young people across the UK. This role is the ideal opportunity for an individual who is interested in supporting the positive work of our company, driving effective administration to support the vital work of our teams.

As the role predominantly involves taking notes of meetings virtually, it is essential to have experience in this area. The notes of the meetings will need to be completed live using a PC/laptop during the meeting. The meetings will largely focus on Child Protection issues and will contain sensitive discussions in relation to children and families. It is essential that you have excellent written communications skills, the ability to work to statutory deadlines, maintaining strict confidentiality at all times, and dealing with the ability to react to changing priorities. You should have first-class IT skills and be an experienced Microsoft Officer user.

Essential requirements:

  • Previous experience of note / minute taking, together with a relevant qualification
  • High standard of English and written skills
  • Strong experience of using Microsoft packages, particularly MS Word and Outlook
  • Clear and professional communications skills
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills, with ability to work flexibly as required

Advantageous requirements of the administrator:

  • Previous experience of minute-taking
  • Local authority/public sector experience
