As a managed service, we work in partnership with you over an agreed period. Together, we resolve your resourcing issues, widen the breadth of your local Educational Psychology (EP) offer, increase the standard of service and provide quality evidence, which is aligned to the Ofsted and CQC SEND inspection framework.

Our team of permanent educational psychologists are deployed to help you manage demand at an affordable daily rate. Meanwhile, our senior SEND and Inclusion service managers work with you on a plan to permanently address your capacity issues and grow your frontline services using our traded income model.

Working to the Ofsted SEND and CQC inspection framework, we vastly improve your existing SEND and Inclusion service offering.

Our first step is to take a ‘deep-dive’ review of your service. We quality assess your EP time allocation model, team structure and the balance between statutory and non-statutory services. Using self-assessment feedback through a Quality Standards Framework, we help review service areas. This provides a baseline from which to make service recommendations and formulate a service delivery plan that our team can implement with you.

Growing a traded income at a time when most local authorities are experiencing challenging recruitment and capacity issues involves taking a detailed look at how efficiently your resources are currently being deployed.

It involves redefining your ‘central core’ offer, reframing your support to schools, and engaging with parents and other partners to discover how resources could be better used.

At a North London Borough, Innovate Psychology more than doubled its traded income within five months to £200k. This involved developing new service policies and procedures and embedding a central training offer to local schools to promote the Borough’s new central core offer.
