Educational Psychology Podcast:

Special Educational Needs & Disabilities

Phil Stock (Managing Director of Innovate Psychology) introduces our first podcast, that explores the current national context around Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND). In this podcast Phil is joined by the Deputy Director of Children’s Services in Bexley, Simon James.

Phil and Simon have historically trained and worked as local authority EPs before moving into more senior positions within the LA structure. The podcast touches on a range of topical SEND issues, including: recent SEND publications, Local Area SEND inspections (including some of the challenges with regards to the outcomes of these inspections) and the importance of the ‘So What‘ question for LAs.

The Innovate Services team is highly-experienced in reframing psychology services at a local authority level. Working to the Ofsted SEND and CQC inspection framework, we can vastly improve your existing SEND and Inclusion service offering, whilst demonstrating impact and value; with immediate efficiency savings and the introduction of a traded income model.

Discover a new way of working.

We’ll help you reframe your children’s services so that you gain clarity you’ve not had before with a service transformation that’ll withstand the test of time.
